Any Michigander knows how season changes can affect our daily lives; driving techniques, fashion choices, and even what we eat changes with the seasons. That being said you can still find fresh fruits and vegetables at farmers markets as the leaves begin to fall. So as we transition from the hot summer days to the crisp fall afternoon, check out these farmers markets in the D.

Market on the Green

Held on the Franklin Village Green, Market on the Green looks to offer fresh products through the end of October. The market is open every Sunday from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. with local vendors selling what is fresh and in-season. It’s also a great spot to pick out pumpkins come Halloween season.

Farmington Farmers & Artisans Market

From transporting food and goods to having enough room for pets and family, owning the right SUV is essential for pet owners. See the available features that make the Chevy Tahoe a pet lover's dream.

Fresh Michigan grown produce is featured every Saturday at the Farmington Farmers & Artisan Market through November 21. Live music will accompany your visit as you shop in Farmington’s quaint and historic downtown district looking for the best produce in the area. Kutchey’s Farm Market

Kutchey’s Farm Market is a family farm featuring bedding plants, fresh fruits, and a wide variety of vegetables. A Kutchey family tradition since the early 1800s, the farm now covers over 300 acres featuring fresh picked sweet corn, tomatoes, peppers and much more. Be sure to visit the website to find out what’s homegrown and when it’s in season.

Shelby Township Farmers Market

Running every Saturday through October 12, the Shelby Township Farmers Market helps you stock up on farm fresh favorites and organic choices. Situated on the Packard Proving Grounds, half of the proceeds help support the Packard Motor Car Foundation. You have a few weeks left to check out this historic market, which will conclude with the annual Harvest Festival.

Davison Farmers Market

Over 70 vendors converge at the Davison Farmers Market year round, every week on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. Local fresh produce, garden plants, organic fruits, bakery goods, and craft items will be available all year long. This Saturday, September 28 sees the return of their Full Moon Harvest Celebration with a bounce house, petting zoo, and plenty of other family-friendly activities.
